The Team - Phil Scott-Priestley

Phil joined Gray’s in July 2008 having been based in Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire managing a number of estates throughout England and Scotland. He graduated with a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management from Harper Adams in 2001 having undertaken a sandwich placement year with Savills based in Norwich, and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2006.

Phil works as a consultant to Lord Durham’s estate office, reporting directly to David Gray and Calum Gillhespy. He specialises in rural estate management. He has an in depth knowledge of the management and rejuvenation of sporting estates, especially grouse moors.

Phil comes from a Yorkshire farming family and has a wide knowledge of agriculture and other rural issues, overseeing the management of numerous estates across the North of England and Scotland.

Phil is a keen shot and rugby player and enjoyed playing two seasons in New Zealand after university.
