Matt began work for Gray’s in August 2007 following time with Savills as a Rural Business Consultant. Matt has extensive agricultural experience including a degree from Harper Adams University College and has recently passed his RICS Assessment of Professional Competence with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Matt undertakes the day-to-day management of landed estates in County Durham, Northumberland and Scotland as well as overseeing in-hand farming operations, a 60 horse livery yard in Durham and deer stalking in the Highlands.
Matt, a member of the County Durham Local Access Forum, principally works out of the Lord Durham’s Estate office where he is involved in valuations, planning, disposal and wayleave work.
