Gray’s use Promap digital mapping system in our day to day work. This allows us to produce high quality maps based on Ordnance Survey data at practically any scale.
Base data is supplied by the Ordnance Survey in a number of formats including that based on 1:1250 scale data. This is known as vector data and identifies each separate survey point used by Ordnance Survey. This mapping data can then be used to produce plans based upon grid references provided by a client, or can provide grid references for use on the ground by a client.
As well as providing plans to retained clients, plans can also be supplied to individual clients and members of the public. By prior appointment, these can be produced whilst you wait in A4 and A3 formats. Larger size maps can readily be produced but need to be printed off site.
In addition to current mapping information, Gray’s cartography services can also source historical maps, aerial photographs and environmental reports based upon specific site areas.
For plans produced for individual clients and members of the public we do require payment in advance of the plans being printed and this will be followed up by a the provision of a receipted invoice.
