Emma Gray is directly employed by Gray’s but in addition to being the Company Secretary, she is also a Consultant Solicitor with BHP Law (who have offices in Newcastle, Durham, Darlington and Teesside).
Emma specialises in all aspects of Private Client Law but in particular Estate Planning, Trusts, Inheritance Tax mitigation and Wills. The specialisms which Emma has developed compliment the Services which Gray’s provide to their clients. Accordingly, when Emma decided to become a consultant to BHP Law and work for Gray’s as well, the potential benefits to clients of both organisations were clear.
Clients are now able to access to relevant legal services from Gray’s own premises as well as any BHP Law office. This should improve the timeliness of any advice provided but also ensures that it is given in conjunction with other associated advice, making the whole package easier for clients to deal with ie by receiving Inheritance Tax planning advice at the same time as valuation advice, dealing with the issues which they throw up should be more straightforward.
